To lower costs through improved efficiencies and productivity, InnoTech developed a global user directory so that all user, contractor, and resource records are maintained in a centralized database. The primary goals were to provide a set of tools that allow IT staff to manage network and email accounts at a logical level – to effectively hide the complexity of the underlying technology – as well as to share specific account information with other internal and external systems.

Before the new system installation, users created and managed IDs, accounts, and mailboxes in each of their own individual environments – using different tools. The solution has been in place since 1997 and InnoTech continues to provide ongoing support as technology changes.
